Property:Pure product is colorless orthorhombic crystal powder, has a bitter taste, density 1.40 g / Cm3, Melting point176-178 ℃, vacuum sublimation and 150-160 ℃, soluble in water, heated to melt in ethanol, very slightly melt in ether. Deliquescent in the air, break down when heated, melting partially formed from the heterogeneous effect of ammonium thiocyanate.
